colleague Michel Nostredame, why mystification, why symbolism, the humans will read it and let go of the information right after it. The humans have been weened off the oracles and seers they frequented for thousands of years untill the brownfrocks cut that line. No one was allowed to speak to the wise women, men or girls raised to speak the truth. The old ways were the ways of the devil, where is the devil now, in a twisted way the devil or shaytan, the deceiver found its place among the seemingly most devout. Giving us murderers, warmongers, hate seeders all over the world.
It is not my god, goddess, mother, father, source, they are speaking for.........but hey, why be mad, those humans have to fill their lives with something, have earn their money in some way. In hate, war, fear, lies is money to be made, good money, you don't have to be smart to figure that out.
My previous predicion, further declining ecnomy, came true, great corporations will sack thousands of their employees, came true, more new things to come.
The earth, the living system, our planet, is a living entity, everything is connected on this planet. If we do not learn to live in accordance with our surroundings, the world around us, nature, it will wipe us away. Look at the water cleansing Australia at the moment. nature finds it way, it does not think about us, the humans are just animals living on this planet and are subject to the same rules as any other animal on this planet.
If we learned to live together, in harmony with the forces of nature we reap more of its benefits. Like the old egyptians learned to live with the inundation of the Nile, the Sumerians with the Eufrates and the Tigris, they enjoyed the benefits of this.
The powers of nature are not our enemy, they are our allies, if we just woke up from that anthropocentric worldview and just became the stewards of the earth again, instead of the masters of our own mental universe. The forces of nature do not care for us, we should be aware of them and then use them as they come to pass.
Politics, the art of rethorics and theatre, spinning yarns as some old friends of mine say, sitting on their porches enjoying their retirement. The humanbeing was always good at building systems, they always had some degree of balance, but when the system becomes to big, there are too many variables, there is too great a unpredictability and too many fall between the cracks or choose to live in the cracks building new systems and societies and worlds within the system. It is impossible these days to live outside the system, unless you are fortunate enough to be born a native in the jungles of Brasil and other countries where one can disappear in the green and live just within natures law. Most humans are caught in all the databases of our governments, corporations, names, adressess, phonenumbers, what we eat, drive, buy, drink and maybe in the future what we feel and think. (It rhymes and it is a possibility in the near future)
I do not fear the demise of the humanrace. The humanrace is strong, smart and more flexible and adaptable than our governments would like to think. The system we are living in is under a great deal of stress, the system, the economic idea defined by the great economist mister Keynes, has reached the limits of its workability. A humanist would say that the human component has been lost in the systems and formulae that govern our societies. Making money, keeping the books balanced is more important than the purpose it should serve, the humans in it.
The power and wealth of all western societies will decline in the next decades, asian economies will be the new powerhouses of the world. Chinese people and businessess will apear in every part of the world, Indian people and businessess will appear everywhere in the world. the western societeies will revert back to technological agricultural societies, it is the only way to keep the illusory nationstates of the past alive. Empires and federations come and go, that is the way of the world, that is the story of history, that which the humans want to forget or put beside them as the most boring part of their education. Lets not learn from history, lets just live by the checkbook, mobile in hand, laptop in the lap, tv on, dvd chosen to watch, in designer jeans, designer shirt, designer shoes and live in the moment, there are others who think for me, act for me, there are others who speak the soundbites that make me feel good or bad and make act in which ever way, lets not think, not think too far ahead, there is no future, there is only now and pleasure and anything i have to do to be pleasured, even if it is for a short while, i am pleasured, nothing else matters, only pleasure, if i have no money i borrow some, don't think about paying back, i have to get to that pleasure bit, everything for pleasure, anything to get the pleasure center turned on and keep it turned on, not think, just do, anything for pleasure, does not matter what, say things others say. do what others do, not think, anything for pleasure, anything for pleasure, anything, just not think.
I do not read newspapers, too much bad news, too much that makes me angry, angry about shortsighted ness by of governments, corporations, humans all going for the quick fix, money and pleasure.
Well these were a few predictions and refelections on human society, i will keep adding new predictions and reflections on the human condition. Hope you'll enjoy them as much as i enjoy writing them. We're on the road to nowhere (David Byrne)
